Alexandra „Allie“ Kiick (born June 30, 1995 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida) is an American tennis player.
Results: Kiick has won three singles and one doubles title on the ITF tour in her career. On August 4, 2014, she reached her best singles ranking of world number 137. On May 19, 2014, she peaked at world number 214 in the doubles rankings. She won her first ITF title in Amelia Island(10k) in 2011 where she beaten Chalena Scholl 6-7(5) 6-2 6-3. She won her second ITF title almost 2 years later in Gainesville(10k) where she beaten Katerina Kramperova 6-1 7-5. One month later she reached her biggest career final in Charlottesville(50k) where she lost to Shelby Rogers 3-6 5-7. After that, she won her biggest career title at the end of 2013 in Merida(25k) where she beaten Ajla Tomljanovic 3-6 7-5 6-0. In January 2014 she reached finals in Daytona Beach(25k) where she was defeated by Anna Tatishvili 1-6 3-6. She won 1 doubles ITF title and reached 4 other finals. In her young career she beaten a lot of top 200 players!
Play style: There’s not a lot of youtube videos with Allie’s matches. This one I shared with you is pretty good. It’s hard to describe Kiick’s play style with those amateur videos, but I’ll try to represent it on the best way. Allie is an aggressive player. She’s playing one-handed forehand and two-handed backhand. She’s right-handed. Both shots are really powerful. She’s not afraid to come to the net and she have some good net skills.
